Gallery Walk Reflection

Writing Prompt: What impression are you left with after our gallery walk? Please reflect in at least two well written paragraphs, using evidence from your graphic organizer.   

         When we finished up the gallery walk I learned lost of things like there is an app that allows you to post updates and lets you do everything anonymously. Although there is a huge negative effect on this app since you post anonymously people found it an easier way to Cyberbully kids. One more article was about Isis and how they killed one of the hostages they were keeping. Now Isis is threatening to kill the other hostage. They'll let him go for $200 million or one of their own bombers who failed on her mission.


           Even though there were some bad articles that were rather negative there was also positive articles too. One of the positive article I learned about was that we are much, much closer to finding a way to cure cancer with a large machine, that shoots laser at the cancer cells and gets rid of them. The main positive on this is that it is a lot better than chemo therapy. Another positive article was Evie's article it was about Ebola and how we are one step closer to finding a full cure on to fight it off with vaccines. What the companies are mainly testing it on is the workers because they are more at risk. Overall I learned a lot within an hour.

I Even Funnier A Middle School Story

Prompt: Summary of the book

       This book takes place in New York. It is about a boy named Jamie Grimm who is the funniest kid in New York but, he wants to be the funniest kid in the planet. Jammie is currently really famous compared to a lot of people almost everyone knows who Jamie Grimm is. He knows people from Derek Jeter to Taylor swift. He currently lives in a garage but stay with his aunt and uncle. He hopes he can move out with them if he makes enough money. The only downside to all this is that Jamie is in a wheelchair and their is this one kid who bullies him all the time. His name is Stevie Kosgrov he has made Jamie so miserable and he is the only person who doesn't want Jamie to become the funniest kid on the planet.

                 This is all I really have so far on the book but it is really interesting isn't it. It is good if you are not having a good or just not feeling yourself because it really cheers you up. I mostly read the book when i've had a bad day just to have a quick laugh, are you the type of person who thinks books are boring? Are you that person who just gets library books because it’s mandatory or recommended by people? Well don’t be, just get a humorous book like this one. Only if you’re into that kind of stuff though but, who isn’t. This book isn’t just funny it has a great story line behind it which makes it a terrific sequel. It also has good images in it that describe it in even better detail. If any of this applies to you, you should really give it a try on this book.

               This book has been really interesting so far even though I have only read a few chapter I feel like I could read this book all day. It has only really been about humor and background knowledge you will need to know to help you read so far but I am positive their is much more than that. I can't wait to read more

Hello, my name is Sebastian Burgos. I am currently in 7th grade at HMS. My favorite color is red and my favorite food to eat is shrimp. I love to listen to music all the time and my favorite thing to do is play a lot of basketball. My favorite subject is math and science I like those because I am good at them and it is really fun to do.


I have 10 siblings in total I have only 3 that live with me and the others are mostly from my dads side. I have only lived in Berwyn since I was born and I personally like it here and I'm really familiar with the area.I live with my mom, grandma, my step dad, my 2 brothers, 1 sister and my aunt occasionally. So yeah that is a little bit about myself. BYE
